Cameron Heyward Scouting Report

Now we have Ohio State 3-4 DE Cameron Heyward.

Strengths: Can be dominate at times, consistent, and can be a 3-4 end, or even a 4-3 tackle.

Weaknesses: Even though he can be dominate, at the same time, he sometimes disappears in games.

Overall: A top notch D Lineman, but will have to work on the stuff mentoined above, if so, he will be a force to be reckoning with.

Ryan Mallet Scouting Report

Now we head back to the QB position, with Arkansas QB Ryan Mallet.

Strengths: Has a big strong arm, tall QB and very very accurate.

Weaknesses: Needs to improve his footwork and his willingness to check down. Not force the ball in.

Overall: Clearly a top 20 pick, and a top 3 QB in this draft class.

Adrian Clayborn Scouting Report

Now, Iowa 4-3 DE Adrian Clayborn.

Strengths: He has a great motor, great technique, great upon impact, and comes off the edge nicely.

Weaknesses: Does need to refine his pass rushing skills a bit. But thats about it.

Overall: Clearly a top 20 pick, possibly a top 10 pick come april 2011.

Marcel Dareus Scouting Report

Lets go defensive, with Alabama 3-4 DE Marcel Dareus.

Sttrengths: Even with his big 306 pound frame, he has great speed, size and power, similar to a RB.

Weaknesses: Has great motor and natural ability, but needs to polish them before sundays come a knocking.

A.J. Green Scouting Report

Now we go Offensive again, with Georgia WR A.J. Green.

Strengths: Playing in a pro style offense, will only help his stock, and help him develop. So dynamic, defenses gameplan around him.

Weaknesses: Needs to become a better route technician, and run better routes. But that will come over time.

Robert Quinn Scouting Report

Next up is, North Carolina 4-3 DE Robert Quinn.

Strengths: Great first step and a smart pass rusher.

Weaknesses: Even though he has the quickness and speed, he better watch out to not be overpowered by Offensive Lineman.

Overall: The clear top DE, whether 3-4 or 4-3 scheme. And our 4th Rankes player in the nation.

Andrew Luck Scouting Report

Next up is, Stanford QB Andrew Luck.

Strengths: Even though Locker has a better arm in a sense than Luck, you will rarely see Luck make bad throws, he is accurate and pin point.

Weaknesses: Now without Toby Gerhart as a safety blanket, how will Luck answer his criticts. Is he a one year wonder, or does he have the potential to be a franchise QB at the next level.

Jake Locker Scouting Report

In the next few weeks, we at DraftWatchers, will be doing several scouting reports of the top prospects for the 2011 NFL Draft.

First up is, Washington QB Jake Locker.

Strengths: His clear strength is his arm and mobility. He has the arm strength to be a top notch NFL Quarterback, and his mobility rivals that of Tim Tebow.
